Perfect Guitar Song Book App Reviews

Used to be an awesome app, but now it crashes on startup. Please, fix it! I wanna play my songs again!

I really like the direction the developer has taken with this app. It has useful, sensible features and not a lot of fluff. Its very well thought out. Using the intertial sensor to function as a page-turner is brilliant. Its got a few glitches, but nothing that has gotten in the way of the enjoyable use of PG SongBook. The developer provides super-responsive customer service, so it looks only to get better. Even with the glitches, I give it full marks now.

Just as the name says "Perfect". All the features have been thought through. "Magic chord complete" saves your editing time drastically. Only add I would suggest would be to link to other IOs devices to display songs and set lists with band mates.

Fantastic app. My whole band uses it and it makes it incredibly easy to put together set lists and performances without fumbling through endless piles of paper. The only requests would be some sort of icon to let you know the song has notes above the lyrics. As well as some sort of cloud feature so I can sync my iPhone/iPad/touch and Mac desktop, so if I make an edit it updates across the board. Another cool feature could be a small metronome in the top right corner or something. Just to help ensure the songs start at the right speed. Besides that, its 100000% better than anything Ive used before. Thank you for a great app.

Have had the app on an iPod for a while and just got a new to me iPhone and text to see how to transfer the songs over Florian at FD Mobile Inventions not only got back to me quickly but gave me instruction even I understood ! WELL DONE!

Such a good start but was promised many months ago a new version with cloud syncing and havent ever seen an update. I dont want to manually copy data from device to device. I want all my songs on all my devices ready to be played. As of yet a waste of money.

Great app with lots of features. Easy to add songs and edit them. Since updating to ios7, the link to songs in iTunes has been glitchy, but its still worth 5 stars in my book!

This is a great tool for putting your songs together. The editor can speed putting all the chords together, it could be a little smoother. The app works great on my mini, scrolling songs to my speed and keeping me organized. It doesnt take long to learn to us it. This is my primary song/chord tool now.

This is one of my favourite music apps! Its always nice to see that the owners are still actively working on their apps and open to making changes/improvements that only make a great app better and better! Keep up the good work!

The designer of this app has nicely answered all my needs. Easy to use, reasonably priced. Love the scrolling with adjustable speeds that can be saved for each song. Great work!

What a waste of money does not live up to how it is layed out very disappointed.

This app keeps surprising me with its capabilities. It makes collaboration with other musicians a snap.

1. The app. is awesome - the number of features is too many for a review. 2. Follow up is also amazing. Personal emails from the dev. to let you know a bug is fixed?! Wow. 3. The price is a bargain. 4. Heres my review. Its easy to build up your song collection. You can add .pdf files or do an automated chord search in the browser within the app. Copy on the web and it auto pastes into the song. Works with .chopro format. Or type it and enter the chords yourself. Its easy to share songs with other musicians. Exports the chord charts as a .pdf song book or single song. If you email a playlist to someone else who has the app, everything, list, songs and chords, is added on their device. When I first started to look for an app for guitar playing I looked at auto scroll programs. This app does that. Automatically if you like. But it does better. There is a touch sensitive setting, so you can just kick your music stand and it scrolls down, the distance you set, then from the bottom back to the top. If you touch the chord name, it shows a chord diagram. Create set lists. Export set lists as a .pdf book Link .mp3s from your library to songs. (Do you play with tracks?) It goes on. The developer has built in a lot of features that make it a seriously useful tool for guitar performers (or other musicians), worship leaders or for playing at home in your room. Get it! (Im not related to or receiving a kickback from the developer! Just think hes done a great job!)

I thought it is a song book with accords and lyrics to play and after paying and downloading it is nothing!!! Im very disappointed...

This is a perfect app for me. I have lot of songs created on PC but iPhone/iPad are much better devices for campfire/grill singing with guitar. Thank you

Great app, a must-have for any performing musician or band. Instructions are clear but app very intuitive.

June 2016. Still the best app in the App Store for gigging musicians. I just transferred all my songs to my new iPad Pro. I put the songs into Set Lists, then emailed them to myself...opened each sent set list with PG Songbook, and everything transferred. EasyPeesy! PG Guitar Songbook is the best app! I have been using it for a couple of years now, and it just keeps getting better. The developer is responsive to suggestions and incorporates them into new updates. Every other musician that sees this on my iPad when Im playing out immediately writes the name down to download! Thats the best endorsement I can give!
