With Perfect Guitar Song Book you always have your collection of guitar songs with you.  You can easily transfer songs from your computer or get them from the Internet and organize  them in lists. The app can handle the most common file formats and comes up with Shake2Scroll, a completely new  scrolling experience.

Songs may be entered or copied from the Internet as plain text or in Chord Pro format. If plain text is entered, PerfectGuitarSongBook automatically converts the song to the Chord Pro format.  Furthermore, the app allows importing various file formats, such  as PDF, DOC, DOCX, PAGES, CHOPRO, CRD and TXT. PerfectGuitarSongBook can convert simple PDF, DOC, DOCX and PAGES files to ChordPro.

I really like the direction the developer has taken with this app. It has useful, sensible features and not a lot of fluff. Its very well thought out. Using the intertial sensor to function as a page-turner is brilliant. Its got a few glitches, but nothing that has gotten in the way of the enjoyable use of PG SongBook. The developer provides super-responsive customer service, so it looks only to get better. Even with the glitches, I give it full marks now.

Just as the name says "Perfect". All the features have been thought through. "Magic chord complete" saves your editing time drastically. Only add I would suggest would be to link to other IOs devices to display songs and set lists with band mates.

Fantastic app. My whole band uses it and it makes it incredibly easy to put together set lists and performances without fumbling through endless piles of paper. The only requests would be some sort of icon to let you know the song has notes above the lyrics. As well as some sort of cloud feature so I can sync my iPhone/iPad/touch and Mac desktop, so if I make an edit it updates across the board. Another cool feature could be a small metronome in the top right corner or something. Just to help ensure the songs start at the right speed. Besides that, its 100000% better than anything Ive used before. Thank you for a great app.

Have had the app on an iPod for a while and just got a new to me iPhone and text to see how to transfer the songs over Florian at FD Mobile Inventions not only got back to me quickly but gave me instruction even I understood ! WELL DONE!

Great app with lots of features. Easy to add songs and edit them. Since updating to ios7, the link to songs in iTunes has been glitchy, but its still worth 5 stars in my book!

Some bad moments

Used to be an awesome app, but now it crashes on startup. Please, fix it! I wanna play my songs again!

Such a good start but was promised many months ago a new version with cloud syncing and havent ever seen an update. I dont want to manually copy data from device to device. I want all my songs on all my devices ready to be played. As of yet a waste of money.

What a waste of money does not live up to how it is layed out very disappointed.

I thought it is a song book with accords and lyrics to play and after paying and downloading it is nothing!!! Im very disappointed...

I am rating this app five stars for one feature, the ability to turn the page with a tap of the foot. I have found it impossible to get scrolling in other apps to accomplish what I need to do. Getting all of my songs to fit on one page just cant be done in a font I can read on an ipad and add on foot switches that work in other apps are expensive and just one more piece of gear to keep track of. The only problem so far was my inability to read the help files an email to the developer was promptly answered and got me past my self induced roadblock. Free tech tip: If your song files are .txt format just rename them to .pro prior to file transfer in iTunes. Thanks for the solution to the page turn issue. I am using my iPad on a music stand and a gentle tap on the stand base does the trick! Please keep updating and adding features. I would like to be able to have more control of font / colors / background color Thanks again for a great app.

What a great alternative to carrying around binders full of chord charts. I just downloaded the iPad app yesterday and have entered a few songs, both manually and from the Internet. Its easy to use and has an attractive interface. I havent gotten around to using every feature yet, but this is a winner! If I could suggest one improvement to make it more convenient to use it would be that when entering the chord letter after the bracket symbol ( for example [E] ) if it would automatically put the first letter of the chord in as an upper case letter. Thanks for a very useful app.
